The MICH helmet adopts a seven-pad suspension system. The pads are
composed of two types of foam materials, which can deform to adapt
to different head shapes, providing better wearing comfort. The
suspension system is attached to the inside of the helmet dome
through a series of nylon buckles and is fixed with a four-point
chinstrap. The MICH has a Level IIIA defense capability and is
specifically designed to withstand 9mm and.44 MAG bullets as well
as blunt force attacks. It provides more space for the wearer's
ears to facilitate the use of communication equipment. The initial
design included a brim and a lower ear cut, but the brim and ear
cover were gradually eliminated later.
